Texas Title Bonds
Start with the state agency that handles your asset, then use the official required amount to choose the matching purchase path.
TxDMV handles motor vehicles. TPWD handles boats and outboard motors.
Motor Vehicles

Key Requirements:
- Must attempt to contact previous owners via certified mail.
- Requires completion of Statement of Fact for Bonded Title (PWD 388).
- Bond amount must be exactly 1.5 times the TPWD appraised value.
